Councilmember Bill Rosendahl wants an international audience to hear the Mark Twain Bellringers at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, and has recently issued a press release expressing his support for our students and informing about the initiative of musician Johnny Irion, who has started a campaign to help our Bellringers. Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion will be offering their last song "Riverside Rocker" as a free download, giving fans the option to make a donation to the Mark Twain Bellringers and help them make their Olympic dream come true. The idea for the "Riverside Rocker" came from the recent story of the LACMA museum acquiring a 340-ton boulder for its permanent collection.
